The Short Version
Telling stories in West Texas since 2014
I'm EJ Wilson, an award-winning producer and director. I grew up in small towns scattered across West Texas and now I'm raising a family in Lubbock. I've been making video since 2014, and I built the digital media department at Texas Tech Hospitality Services from the ground up. Blue Cedar is named for the trees on our fence lines, the ones that outlast the wire. I'm here to plant more with deep roots.
He has collaborated with nationally recognized brands and award winning chefs including Martin Yan, Jet Tila, and James Beard Award winner Iliana de la Vega, and has earned recognition from the Lubbock ADDY Awards, national SIAA competitions, and the American Advertising Federation.
He believes the best stories are not invented. They are found in the land, the people, and the work that outlasts both.
